I qualified from Aston University in 1997 then did my pre-registration in Wigan Infirmary. I then worked in community pharmacy for many years and developed strong clinical governance and management skills.

Recently I moved into the practice pharmacist role to apply my knowledge in different ways. I am very interested in clinical pharmacy and am working towards attaining an independent prescriber qualification in the near future.

I believe strongly in patient-centred care and understand we need to take a holistic look at medicine treatment and understand the whole person rather than seeing them as the sum of their pills.

The receptionists are here to help patients. They are responsible for answering the telephone, making appointments, booking in patients, dealing with patient queries, and printing prescriptions. Anything you share with them will be treated in confidence.  

They are trained to assist you with any enquiries you may have regarding the services which the Practice provides and help you with queries such as test results, or anything you are unsure about.
